Lithotripsy Computations
Computational model
- Two computational domains:
- Elasticity equations solved in left domain that contains the lens
- Euler equations solved in right domain that contains the focal plane
- Lithotripter lens modeled by linear elasticity equations
- Water modeled by:
- Zero-shear elasticity equations in left domain.
- Euler equations (Tait equation of state) in right domain.
- Initial pulse is input as a boundary condition at left edge of domain
- Axisymmetric computation
